Roberta wrote this song about her and Violet's great grandpa, Henry Price. He was an indentured servant who eventually was a adopted by a family in Pomeroy, OH named Price. His daughter(Grandma Babe) insisted that her father was Blackfoot from Montana. Other parts of the story were told to Violet and Roberta's dad directly by his Grandpa Price.
